MY NEIGHBORHOOD
I live on Calvo de Araujo Street; my neighborhood is a quiet place. There is a church, a small market, and a park.
The market’s name is La Norteñita it is on Manco Capac Street. The park is on the corner of Manco Capac and Putumayo streets. Santa Rosa de Lima church is on Las Delicias street.
I normally go to church on weekends. There is a gas station near my house. The Max Agustin Stadium is near my house too.
The Max Agustin Stadium
The Max Agustin Stadium was built in 1942 and renovated in 2005, to host the FIFA World Cup in 2005. These matches were played: Costa Rica vs. Peru, Turkey vs. China and Brazil vs. North Korea. The stadium has a capacity of 2,576 people.
Santa Rosa de Lima church
This church is located in the
Sargento Lores urbanization. It was created in 1960 by Monsignor Gabino and two
Franciscan missionaries. A few months ago the church celebrated 50 years of
creation, where there was a mass.
